What the evidence says
- Company claim
Roborock says the arm can pick up items under 300 g, such as socks, sandals, crumpled tissues and small towels, and put them in places set in its app.

TechRadar used the Saros Z70 as its main vacuum for two weeks (May 2025) and found its navigation accurate and reliable and its cleaning up there with the best robot vacuums. It could not get the arm to tidy anything away automatically; picking items up by remote control through the app worked.

After a Roborock firmware update, nextpit retested the arm and found it now put socks and towels into the box, which it had failed to do in nextpit's first test (article updated December 2025).

Owners start cleaning from the app or a schedule and can drive the arm by remote control in the app; neither Roborock nor the reviews describe remote staff helping the robot. Human involvement is left blank because none of the Index's options describes this.
