    Google stopped serving Gemini CLI to free-of-charge users and to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, and pointed them to Antigravity CLI. Gemini CLI still works with paid Gemini API keys, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform API keys, and Gemini Code Assist Standard or Enterprise licences.

    The open-source tool is still free to install, but using it now runs through a paid API key or a Code Assist Standard or Enterprise licence.
